Patient has left ventricle hypertrophy, and was put on a blood pressure monitor for 24hrs. Patient was put on monitor because of elevated BP readings in office
with normal BP readings outside office. BCBS has denied claim stating that 93784 was not medically necesary. Is this true, if the patient has left ventricle
hypertrophy, and office and outside readings differ? If it is true, is there an alternate CPT that can be used for such monitoring?
